Dear Jane & Freddie,
Gwynne and I consider that day in October, 2005 that we stopped at the gas station in Mars Hill to be one of the most important days of our lives.
It was there we met Jane, who was on her “day off”, but graciously agreed to lead us to Wolf Laurel and show us around. We weren’t even sure what we were looking for or where we wanted to settle, but Jane asked the right questions, was patient, showed us a variety of homes and views and told us about Wolf Laurel. When we walked in the home we eventually purchased, it was “WOW”. This is exactly what we were looking for. It had everything: almost new, wide open, spectacular views and we could see it as our new home. Best of all, it was a one of a kind “Freddie Wallin House” and had all of the quality and little details that make it special.
Jane has been so helpful in helping us to get acclimated to our new mountain lifestyle. As newlyweds and full-timers, that has been important to us. The people of Wolf Laurel and Madison County are friendly and have welcomed us with open arms.
After moving in, we wanted to make some alterations to the house to suit our needs and Freddie and his men seemed to know exactly what we wanted. What a pleasure to work with! They completed the work quickly (while we were out of town) and the quality is fantastic.
Thanks for helping us find our little piece of heaven and live our dream. This truly is “As Good As It Gets”.
John & Gwynne Beneke
